ZEHNDER, OLTEAN & FREY
And once again history meets the present, this time at the Grande Société de Berne. Ana Oltean, Kaspar Zehnder, and Vital Julian Frey describe their program of authentic, reconstructed, and speculatively attributed Bach trio sonatas as a family-based Corona project. The trio sonata is considered the pinnacle of Baroque chamber music. Somewhere between heaven and earth, the recordings were made in the Renaissance hall of Burgistein Castle, BE, in August 2020. These recordings have since been released on CD by ARS Produktion and have received acclaim from the international press. The trio has since performed numerous concerts and participated in prestigious festivals both in Switzerland and abroad.
