MENDELSSOHN TRIO BERLIN
The guests are three musicians with many years of concert and teaching experience, who have been on the road since 1984 as one of the most successful German trios. On this evening, the Hotel Jardin is transformed into a real concert hall with plenty of ambience for top-class classics. The highlight of the evening, however, is the passionate tango music, with two tangueros completing Piazzolla's passionate music with a dance.
Since its founding in 1984, the Mendelssohn Trio Berlin has been successful in many European countries, Russia and overseas and is one of the most sought-after chamber music formations with a repertoire that ranges from baroque to modern. CD recordings (at CPO, VMS and BMG) as well as radio and television productions at renowned broadcasters such as Bavarian, North German, West German, Saarland and Südwestrundfunk, DeutschlandRadio Berlin, HR, Radio Bremen, Italian RAI and ORF demonstrate the musicality of the trio, whose members are also international soloists.
